Mohammad Syazwan Bin Aiman

Mohammad Syazwan began his journey at Kolej Kemahiran Johor (KKJ) as a student in the DSK Tahap 4 (Computer System Administration) programme with a strong interest in technology but limited hands on experience. Throughout his studies, he developed essential technical skills in system configuration, network management, troubleshooting, and server administration. During his time at KKJ, Mohammad Syazwan actively participated in practical lab sessions, group projects, and industry based assignments that strengthened both his technical competencies and problem solving abilities. The hands-on training approach at KKJ allowed him to gain real world exposure, preparing him for the demands of the IT industry. Beyond technical knowledge, he also learned valuable soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and time management. His lecturers played a significant role in guiding and mentoring him, ensuring he was industry ready upon graduation. After completing his studies, Mohammad Syazwan secured a position as a Junior System Administrator at a local IT solutions company. With dedication and continuous learning, he quickly advanced in his career and is now responsible for managing company servers, maintaining network security, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure. Today, Mohammad Syazwan credits KKJ for providing him with the strong foundation that shaped his professional journey. Tan Wei Song

Tan Wei Song began his journey at Kolej Kemahiran Johor (KKJ) as a passionate culinary student enrolled in the Tahap 3 Chef programme. From the very beginning, he demonstrated strong interest, discipline, and creativity in the kitchen. Throughout his studies, Wei Song mastered essential culinary techniques including food preparation, kitchen operations, menu planning, plating presentation, and food safety standards. The intensive hands-on training at KKJ allowed him to refine his practical skills and build confidence in handling real kitchen environments. He actively participated in culinary demonstrations and internal cooking competitions organised by the college, where his dedication and attention to detail stood out among his peers. His lecturers recognised his commitment and consistently encouraged him to push his limits and aim higher in the hospitality industry. After completing his certification, Wei Song secured an opportunity to work at a prestigious 5-star hotel. Starting as a junior kitchen staff, his strong technical foundation, professionalism, and teamwork skills enabled him to quickly adapt to the fast-paced environment of a high-end kitchen. Today, he plays an important role in supporting fine dining operations, maintaining quality standards, and contributing creative ideas to menu development. Raju

Raju enrolled in the Tahap 3 Electrical programme at Kolej Kemahiran Johor (KKJ) with a strong determination to build a stable and skilled career in the technical field. Although he began with basic knowledge of electrical systems, his passion for learning and hands-on work quickly set him apart. Throughout his training, Raju gained practical experience in electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety compliance in accordance with industry standards. The structured curriculum and intensive workshop sessions at KKJ strengthened his technical foundation while instilling discipline, precision, and adherence to safety procedures. He was actively involved in practical projects and was recognised by his instructors for his problem-solving skills and commitment to completing tasks efficiently. During his industrial training, he impressed his supervisors with his ability to diagnose faults and carry out installations independently under minimal supervision. After completing his certification, Raju secured employment with an established electrical contracting company specialising in commercial and industrial installations. Starting as an Electrical Technician, he worked on projects involving building wiring systems, panel installations, and preventive maintenance services. His consistent performance and strong work ethic later earned him the opportunity to lead small project teams on-site. Today, Raju continues to enhance his expertise by pursuing additional professional certifications and staying updated with the latest electrical technologies. He believes that technical skills combined with continuous learning are key to long-term success in the industry.
